There are very early reports that Qaddafi has agreed to a peace offer in Libya according to South Africa.
The turmoil in Libya which started during the middle of February is nearing its two months mark.
The peace plan was comprised by the Africa Union.
The current mission of the AU team is to negotiate with the rebels in their stronghold in Benghazi and to accept the ceasefire that was reported to be accepted by Qaddafi.
The terms of the peace offer is not clear, and it’s still early to figure if this AU peace offer will be accepted by the rebels.
Nonetheless, this is the first good sign of an end to the ongoing war in Libya.
