It’s reported that Obama has approved a list of sanctions against Syrian officials as the US is opposing the current bloodshed in Syria.
There are reported of dozens of civilians killed in the southern city of Daraa due to open fire of snipers. Parallel, the Syrian army reported that four of its soldiers were killed and two were kidnapped.
The United Nations Human Rights Council will convene today to investigate the current situation in Syria.
This escalation in the stability in Syria might further contribute to the instability of the Middle East and might even have some effect the financial markets including crude oil market.
