Saudi Arabia Responses to Turmoil in the Middle East – 22 February

The Middle East turmoil already caused some uprise in the crude oil price today, driving it up as the uncertainty in supply of oil from Libya – an OPEC member, could be at jeopardy.

Saudi Arabia, according to Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, will be there to pick up the slack if there will be any supply disruptions in the Middle East, thus, trying to restore confidence and stability n the energy market.

As of now, reports show that OPEC oil price has passed the 100$/b mark.
